Branding Night

A conversation with session hairstylist and global brand consultant

Standing out in your category, establishing yourself in your industry and building a loyal community is important now more than ever.

Each person's beliefs, values, vision, mission, purpose, vibe, experience and tone of voice are all different, and these are what make you unique and what makes up your brand. These elements separate you from others in your industry and are the reason why people are your clients, your customers, your community and your network.

Defining your brand can move your business and career forward, attract your target audience and set you apart in a crowded market.

In this session Adlena will have an open conversation with Tish Dignam, founder of Diggs, whose mission is to demystify the brand marketing space by providing practical educational information, tools and tips on building your brand and marketing yourself in a way that FEELS GOOD. She’ll discuss how she’s currently building her business in real time and provide practical tools and advice that you can implement directly after the discussion.

This class is open to all creatives, hair and makeup artists, salon owners, and independent artists.

About Tish and Adlena:

Tish Dignam is a brand marketing consultant who works with founders, entrepreneurs and creatives globally, helping them build their brand, market themselves in a way that feels good and grow their community to establish themselves in their category/industry.

Her diverse background and connections is what she brings to consulting. She brings your vision to life, delivering a seamless, integrated service, rooted in relationship building and aligned expectations.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Adlena’s dynamic versatility is in-part credited to her years spent living in London and Paris, where she honed her skills and understanding of the nuanced European approach to hair styling. She became a regular on the fashion week show circuit and relocated to New York where she has spent the last 8 years forging an exciting career as a stylist and artist in her own right. She has collaborated with photographers Roe Ethridge, Benny Horne, Collier Schorr, Hill & Aubrey, Hugo Comte, Emma Tempest and Alex Nataf. Her client list includes Ralph Lauren, Rag & Bone, Tory Burch, MAC, Adidas, Anthropologie, Theory, Marc Jacobs and Madewell.

(Salon)Practice: A community center and incubator where we come together to practice, play, experiment, and share. We work on assuring a more equitable and sustainable future for beauty workers of all backgrounds and at every stage of their career.
